About the role:
We are looking for Events Co-ordinator to join our Marketing Department based at Bedford College. As an Events Co-ordinator you will play a pivotal role in the success of our students by:
Providing support to deliver high quality events that delight stakeholders.
Contributing to the achievement of student recruitment numbers, the student and stakeholder experience, and the enhancement of the Group’s and its colleges’ reputation.
Contributing to sharing and promoting the student experience through engaging content on our social media platforms. Coordinating and supporting the delivery of engaging student-based events including but not limited to Open Days, Advancer Days, Discovery Days and Enrolment events and Award Ceremonies to support the achievement of application and enrolment targets ensuring that visitors receive an outstanding experience
Capturing student-focussed events through photography and video at our various campuses to share on social media channels
About you:
English and Maths or similar at GCSE grade A-C or equivalent
Educated to A Level standard or equivalent
Experience of assisting in the organisation and planning of events.
Experience of posting on various social media platforms
Ability to communicate effectively and confidently face to face, on the telephone and in writing
Strong judgement/initiative with the ability to effectively interpret and apply policies and procedures, understand and solve problems and suggest improvements.
High level of accuracy/attention to detail.
Highly organised, being able to prioritise own and others’ work to ensure activities are achieved on time and to required standards.
Excellent IT skills.
