About the role
This is an exciting and challenging role within the Platforms Team – Core. This team provides 2nd and 3rd line support for a variety of applications used at the University to run its operational activities, including but not limited to HR & Payroll, Finance, ITSM, Integrations, and Oracle applications (Zellis, Unit4, Ivanti, Dell Boomi, Oracle Web Forms), as well as other business applications.
This role involves providing end-user support for services, ensuring timely resolution of incidents, service requests, and problems, and escalating issues where required. It requires close collaboration with Software Administrators within the Platforms Team and other colleagues within the IT department and the wider University.
The role is central to identifying issues, collating feedback, monitoring performance, and facilitating the improvement of end-user experience and procedures. Additionally, it will contribute to delivering security and compliance and consolidating existing legacy software.
