About the role:
This post is for a Laboratory Manager who will be responsible for the Sustainable Energy Materials Group (SEMG) laboratories, their equipment, testing activities, safety, staff and student training, and lab discipline. The Laboratory Manager will report to the Department Services and Safety Manager to ensure that that activities in these laboratories are performed safely.
What you would be doing:
You will be responsible for the maintenance of the equipment in the SEMG laboratories and will co-ordinate the procurement and installation of new equipment with the senior SEMG members when required. You will also set up and maintain online resources. You will also liaise with the University facilities team and equipment servicing engineers will be required to ensure maintenance activities are performed as required.

The role is a full-time post and is a fixed-term contract for 12 months with the possibility of extension. The role is entirely onsite at the Department of Chemical Engineering at Imperial College London (South Kensington Campus). Starting date will be as soon as possible.
