Do you hold a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field? Do you excel in programming, visualisation, analysis, machine learning, and large language model (LLM) skills using Python? Do you have a strong understanding of quantitative methods and business decision-making processes?

If you're passionate about applying your expertise to solve complex challenges in a commercial environment, this role is for you! Take the lead in embedding and utilising an LLM-enhanced approach to data analysis to disrupt standard industry practices. 

The University of Leeds has an excellent opportunity for you to ‘fast track’ your career in industry by leading a strategically important project to a successful conclusion. Through a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP), you will be working in partnership with SR Mailing Limited and Leeds University Business School at the University of Leeds, one of the UK’s leading research-intensive universities.  

SR Mailing Limited, based in Manchester strives to be the premier provider of sustainable packaging through customer-centric innovations underpinned by a data-driven business model. This project aims to offer the company a cost-effective way to understand customers, meet evolving needs, and accelerate business growth. 

You will be integrated into SR Mailing’s R&D team in Manchester. This provides a unique environment to undertake extensive research, testing and development throughout the duration of your project. This will be supplemented when necessary during the project by utilising the "state of the art" facilities available at the University of Leeds.
