The post holder will assist in conducting a randomised controlled trial to evaluate the performance of a research protocol to compare the Reconsolidation of Traumatic Memories (RTM) intervention with Trauma-Focused CBT. The interventions will be delivered by charities focusing on the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in ex-military veterans. They will assist the QUB principal investigator (PI), Professor Cherie Armour, working alongside PI collaborators from Kings College London (Professor Jackie Strut & Professor Neil Greenberg).
The successful candidate will assist in the overall delivery of the project across multiple collaborator organisations in the UK. The post holder will be provided with opportunities to build their own research capacity and research interests through training opportunities and through collaborations with senior academic colleagues regionally, nationally and internationally through the established research networks of colleagues.

This is a part-time post which is available for 2.5 years. Fixed term contract posts are available for the stated period in the first instance but in particular circumstances may be renewed or made permanent subject to availability of funding.
