About the person:

We are seeking an innovative individual to develop and deliver high-level skills training and development programmes for postgraduate students. The ideal candidate will focus on leadership and management training related to Chartered Management Institute (CMI) accreditation, contributing to the growth of the Graduate School and enhancing the overall postgraduate student experience.

Key responsibilities include planning, designing, and delivering high-quality training in areas such as leadership, project management, and entrepreneurial practice. The candidate will assess student needs, develop tailored training solutions, and build partnerships with external stakeholders to enhance training opportunities.

The role requires excellent analytical, organisational, and ICT skills, along with a high level of oral and written communication abilities. The candidate must be able to work collaboratively and contribute to the development of frameworks and systems to support student skills development. Experience in delivering engaging training methods and working with a range of partners is essential.

The successful candidate will build relationships with stakeholders, and contribute to events that enhance the reputation of the Graduate School. They must be willing to work evenings and weekends as required and have periods of restricted annual leave in September and October.

Fixed term contract posts are available for the stated period in the first instance but in particular circumstances may be renewed or made permanent subject to availability of funding.
