About the role
The Department of Education, in association with Nuffield College, are seeking to appoint a full-time Associate Professor of Digital Education. The appointment will be initially for five years at which point, upon completion of a successful review, the post-holder will be eligible for reappointment to the retiring age.
The Associate Professorship is available from September 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter. The appointment will be made in association with a non-tutorial fellowship at Nuffield College, further details of the fellowship can be found in the job description.
Your main responsibilities will be to lead the highly regarded Digital and Social Change strand of the Masters in Education offered by the Department of Education. You will develop and carry out high quality research, relevant to learning or teacher learning in of digital technologies, drawing on this activity to inform all work related to the above programmes. You will be required to take on administrative and examining duties as requested by the department.
