Opportunity Overview 

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the University’s Finance Department Systems Team in a newly created role. As Finance Systems Officer, you will play a key part in supporting end-users and helping to shape and enhance the University’s Finance, Accounting, and Procurement system, Unit4 ERP.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in financial systems, user support, and process improvement, and offers the chance to make a tangible impact across the University’s finance operations.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Provide second and first-line support to users of the Unit4 ERP system, resolving queries and escalating issues where necessary.
  • Assist in the maintenance, testing, and development of the ERP system, including supporting upgrades and planned maintenance activities.
  • Work collaboratively with other University teams to identify and implement system improvements and efficiencies.
  • Support training and documentation efforts, ensuring users have access to clear and accurate system guidance.
  • Contribute to ongoing projects aimed at optimising finance-related processes and workflows.
  • Maintain data quality and integrity within the Unit4 ERP system.
