We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Travel and Tourism Lecturer to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will play a vital part in raising student achievement through engaging and innovative teaching, while also contributing to the overall success of our Travel and Tourism department.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality and inspiring lessons to learners aged 16–19, covering NCFE and BTEC Travel and Tourism qualifications at Levels 1, 2, and 3. As part of your role, you will also act as a Tutor, offering one-to-one academic and pastoral support to ensure all students are guided, motivated, and empowered to achieve their goals. Your industry experience will be essential in helping students understand real-world applications and career pathways within the travel and tourism sector.
We are looking for a qualified and experienced educator or industry professional with a strong background in Travel and Tourism. An aviation background would be highly desirable. You should be a committed and passionate practitioner who can engage, inspire, and challenge students within a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential, along with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team focused on high standards and continuous improvement.
Applicants should hold a relevant teaching qualification or be willing to work towards one. You will also need appropriate qualifications in Travel and Tourism, and previous experience teaching or training young people is preferred.

Richmond upon Thames College is part of the Harrow, Richmond and Uxbridge College Group (HRUC) and is one of London’s most successful Further Education Colleges providing education and training to 16-19 year old’s and adults from across Richmond, London and Surrey, for over 80 years.
