The role
Working within the Media Services team this role contributes to the running and maintenance of the TV, Sound, Film and Post Production facilities at the University. This role will specialise in Sound but will play a part in supporting everything within Media Services.
They will be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of facilities, technical support for staff and students, and involved in the running of upgrade projects to enhance our technical offering.
The candidate
The ideal candidate has a strong background in broadcast engineering with strong skills in both hardware maintenance and software support. They will have knowledge across the breadth of areas that Media Services support but with a specialism for sound and audio.
They will be highly motivated by both maintaining facilities to a high standard and supporting their users to achieve their creative potential.
