About the role

As Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Healthcare Education and Clinical Professional Development, to join the Department of Postgraduate Medical Education. You will lead and contribute to our education programmes, specifically but not exclusively the delivery and enhancement education of medical and clinical practitioners (approved by GMC, NMC, and the HCPC, and any other relevant professional body). You will be expected to contribute to the research activities of one of our Research Units and meet the qualitative and qualitative requirements for submission to the next Research Excellence exercise.

You will be responsible for the development and delivery of educational practice models and programmes including working across faculty to support the educational provision of the department and building relationships with local stakeholders nationally and internationally.

About you

You will be an enthusiastic and friendly professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills coupled with a commitment to providing an excellent student experience. You will be an experienced educator with a passion for teaching, learning and supporting research, educational experience is essential to the role.

You will be able to demonstrate a high level of professional expertise and knowledge, possess effective leadership skills alongside transferable skills of adaptability and resilience. You will be committed to working collaboratively with colleagues to lead on the delivery of multi-professional learning. You will have a flexible and positive attitude with excellent ability to collaborate and motivate others.
