We are seeking a skilled Teaching Fellow in Fashion Image Making and Styling in the School of Arts, Media and Creative Technology.
We are now looking for an inspiring Teaching Fellow in Fashion Image Making and Styling. You will have a strong professional profile as a directional and contemporary fashion stylist along with teaching experience within higher education.
Key Responsibilities
Knowledge of identifying trends and forecasting alongside a nuanced approach to communicating through styling within a contemporary context is and essential criterion for this role. You will be a skilled educator with experience of encouraging students to develop essential concepts and confidence to find their own voice and aesthetic.
You will be focused upon providing students with the skills and knowledge to adapt and thrive within the industry. In addition, you will have some experience of delivering styling workshops inclusive of the sourcing of clothes, placement of garments, experimental and creative expression and understanding clients and diverse markets.
You will deliver and contribute to the BA (Hons) Fashion Image Making Styling programme across all levels and year groups. You will also have a strong working knowledge of the Adobe CC suite, especially InDesign, Photoshop and After Effects. Although not essential, experience of Adobe Premier would be desirable in informing this exciting role.
