Job description:
Are you an experienced and strategic leader with a passion for optimising educational experiences? The School of Medicine and Population Health (SMPH) is seeking a highly skilled professional to lead the monitoring and reporting of our Training Clinical Placements.
This pivotal role sits within our dedicated Tariff Team, which is responsible for effectively managing the National Health Service England’s (NHSE) Training Tariff. This funding is crucial in ensuring our medical undergraduate placements are high quality, providers are consistently reimbursed, and learners develop the essential skills and knowledge to meet their professional competencies.
You'll provide strategic oversight, deliver exceptional service, and coordinate vital quarterly data submissions to NHSE. This position demands strong line management capabilities, outstanding communication, and a collaborative approach as you'll be engaging with colleagues across the School, Faculty, University, external Higher Education Institutions, NHS Trusts, and NHSE.
We are committed to exploring flexible working opportunities which benefit the individual and University.
We build teams of people from different heritages and lifestyles from across the world, whose talent and contributions complement each other to greatest effect. We believe diversity in all its forms delivers greater impact through research, teaching and student experience.
