This post offers the opportunity to contribute to a vibrant undergraduate module of Birkbeck's Business School.
Brand Development is a compulsory third year, level 6 undergraduate module for those taking the BSc Marketing degree. It introduces students to all aspects of brand management and strategy and covers all aspects of the theory and practice of branding.
The module allows students to build on their knowledge of the principles of marketing and develop their ability to explore relevant branding issues and challenges. In the process, they develop a critical perspective that covers various corporate and consumer issues. This is achieved through testing the validity of a number of concepts and analytical frameworks by applying them to case studies relating to branding.
A key aspect of the module is that students are shown how to develop strategies for the development and maintenance of successful brands in a variety of market contexts.

Remuneration
Payment is based on an hourly rate depending on length of continuous service with the College (starting rate £59.91 per hour inclusive of pro-rata London Allowance and holiday pay) for contact hours worked.
This hourly rate is based on the starting point of Grade 6 and is inclusive of a ‘Duties Related to Teaching Multiplier’ at 2.5, which covers preparation, teaching, administration, assessment marking and other examining duties in connection with the course.
