IT Services is seeking to recruit a Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR) Manager to join the team.
The role of the BCDR Manager is to take responsibility for IT Services BCDR plans, taking the lead and working with a wide range of IT Services staff to ensure that these solutions are documented, regularly reviewed, tested, maintained, and continuously improved to meet the University’s existing and future requirements. Working to recognised industry standards, the role holder will be a subject matter expert and will apply their extensive specialist knowledge to:
The role will require technical leadership, decision making, collaborative problem solving, planning, documentation, and liaison skills.
We require an enthusiastic individual with a passion for the job. You must be self-motivated, capable of working unsupervised but also able to work closely with colleagues both in and outside of the team.
The university operates a hybrid work environment for staff in Central Professional Services, with a current requirement for a minimum of 60% of working time on campus, and up to 40% working remotely depending on business needs.
This role is eligible for sponsorship under the skilled worker route.
