Homerton College was founded in the 18th Century, moved to its current location in 1894 and was granted a Royal Charter as a self-governing College of the University of Cambridge in 2010. About the role
Homerton College is seeking a Communications and Administration Assistant to join its Communications team for 18.5 hours per week every Tuesday, Wednesday and half a day on Thursday. We are open to considering alternative working days for the right candidate. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our college, which is buzzing with ideas and initiatives.
The Communications and Administration Assistant will play an important role in enabling the team to promote stories and research, and highlight the successes of our students, staff, and academics.
The postholder will be responsible for gathering, filing, and organising media and information in order to help the team more efficiently produce content such as videos, graphics, social media posts, and newsletters.
We are looking for an effective communicator comfortable with liaising and collaborating with senior staff, academics, and students.
The successful candidate will also demonstrate the ability to manage a hectic and varied workload with creativity and precision.
