The full-time starting salary is normally £45,235 per annum, with progression available in post to £51,182 per annum.

We are seeking innovative, ambitious, and inspirational candidates to join our friendly team. The successful candidates will have substantial academic and clinical experience in Occupational Therapy practice, with an in-depth understanding of the specialism that enables the development of new knowledge. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to make independent decisions and effectively plan and prioritise their own workload and that of others.

The role requires experience in leading a team in a busy academic environment and the ability to share your knowledge effectively with learners. Experience in leading or collaborating on research and enterprise projects is preferred. It will also be advantageous for the successful candidate to demonstrate experience in establishing external partnerships and possessing external recognition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teaching and learning activities across the Occupational Therapy and pre-registration Master’s portfolio, using research-informed teaching strategies.
  • Design and deliver skills and simulations, including the use of Anatomage, professional and academic skills, basic life support, and interprofessional learning.
  • Provide personal tutoring, mentor training, research supervision, and academic and placement support for students and clinical partners.
  • Play an active role in the recruitment of students.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • A degree in Occupational Therapy, 
  • Be working towards a Masters or Doctoral level study. Evidence of ongoing post-registration professional development.
  • Registration with the HCPC as an Occupational Therapist.
