University of the Arts London (UAL) is seeking a Student Funds Manager to play a key role managing the administration and allocation of student funds.
You will take the lead role in the management of student loans from US and Canadian government agencies, ensuring the University complies with loan regulations and loans are processed and dispersed correctly.
You will work in collaboration with the Head of Student Funding and the Scholarships and Bursaries Manager to ensure an effective student funds strategy, developing robust processes and protocols for the application and dispersal of student loans.
The role also includes managing a team of Student Funding Administrators, ensuring that all aspects of service delivery are completed efficiently and effectively.
About you
Experience of working in Higher Education funding administration, and experience of US Loans administration, including US federal loans and private loans, is essential.
You will also need experience of using student record systems, including SITS and have experience of adapting services, processes and systems to meet customers’ needs and identify ways of improving standards.
The ability to motivate and lead a team effectively, setting clear objectives to manage performance, is equally important.
