Selwyn College is recruiting for a Relief Porter to join our friendly and inclusive College community.
Relief Porters provide essential support for the Duty Porter team during peak times and regularly provide cover for sickness absence/annual leave. Flexibility will be required to work a variety of shifts or part-shifts depending on the needs of the lodge.
College Porters are responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the Porters’ Lodge. In addition to acting as first and main point of contact for enquiries from visitors, guests, students, Fellows and staff, Porters are responsible for the safety and security of College premises, and as fire wardens, responding to fire alarms and other emergencies.
