The role

We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Research Project Officer to support the School’s Research Strategy and the delivery of high-quality research outputs and foster a collaborative, inclusive research culture. This is an exciting time to join our School, as we expand interdisciplinary research opportunities and enhance the student experience.
In this pivotal role, you’ll be part of a dynamic environment, working closely with academics, research students, professional services colleagues, and external stakeholders. You’ll manage a broad portfolio of responsibilities – from supporting funding proposals to overseeing budgets, organising high-profile research events, and leading a dedicated research support team.
This role is available on a fixed-term basis with funding confirmed until 31 May 2026. Any further funding beyond this point will be subject to approval and is not guaranteed.
This position could be an opportunity for an internal secondment, with approval from your current line manager.
Working pattern: Full-time, hybrid (3 days on campus), Monday - Friday, 09:00–17:00
