Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford is seeking a Video and Multimedia Production Technician to lead the creation, production and delivery of innovative multimedia content that enhances teaching, research and learning.
As our Video and Multimedia Production Technician, you will be the go-to expert for all video and multimedia content across the School. You will plan, film, edit and deliver a range of multimedia assets—from teaching materials and research showcases to livestreamed events and podcasts. You’ll collaborate closely with academic staff, the Digital Learning Technologist, AV teams and external partners to ensure all content is produced on-brand, on-budget and on-time.
Key responsibilities:
- Produce a wide range of multimedia including video, audio, screen capture, livestreams and animations.
- Collaborate with faculty and teams to create compelling content aligned with pedagogical goals.
- Ensure all content is accessible, engaging and inclusive.
- Provide training and advice on media equipment and software to colleagues and students.
- Monitor trends and innovate in video technologies to maintain excellence in media delivery.
You will have substantial experience in creating educational video and multimedia content within a Higher Education setting, with comprehensive technical knowledge of audiovisual systems, tools and production workflows. You will be skilled in all stages of multimedia production—from scripting and storyboarding to filming, editing and post-production—using a wide range of equipment and software.
