About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for a planning professional to make an impact in a new role within the Strategy, Planning and Analytics Service at the University of Plymouth. The Strategy, Planning and Analytics Service supports strategy development and delivery by managing strategic projects, delivering the planning process and providing data and insights to customers across the University.
As a Senior Planning Officer, you will be responsible for delivering an effective planning partner service to colleagues in Faculties and Professional Services. In this role, you will provide a key connection between Faculties and the Strategy, Planning & Analytics Service. You will develop strong working relationships with Faculty leadership teams and business partners in other Professional Service areas to provide high quality, joined up planning support.
An experienced analyst, you will be confident in transforming data into evidence and insights that can be used to drive performance improvement. You will have experience working with a range of Higher Education datasets and you will have experience designing and delivering dashboards that are intuitive for customers to use to inform strategic decision making.
To be successful in this role you will need experience of transforming data into actionable insights and strong influencing skills to ensure that strategic planning is evidence led. You will work collaboratively with stakeholders building effective relationships to ensure that the team are a trusted source of advice and support across the University and will role model openness to feedback and a commitment to continuous improvement.
This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week on a permanent basis.
