About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the University of Plymouth SAFE research team to support research staff and families of autistic children.
We are seeking an experienced Administrator to work in the SAFE research team on a study assessing the effectiveness of SAFE, a new intervention for families of autistic children. You will be working with the wider research team to deliver an efficient and effective service to both research team members and participants. This is a diverse role which will include maintaining study records and assessment data, helping to resolve participant and staff queries, organising, attending and minuting of meetings.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working as part of a team and with a high level of administrative experience. You will need to have good organisational skills, excellent IT skills, and the ability to be pragmatic when finding solutions to problems.
Working with participants and staff on a daily basis the need for good communication skills is essential, team-work and accuracy are also essential.

This is a part-time position working 14.8 hours per week on a fixed-term basis for 48 months from October 1st 2025

For this role, you will need to be on site 1 days a week. Although we can acommodate working from home for this role, flexibility to be on-site will be expected due to business needs.
