We are looking for an enthusiastic researcher to make a leading contribution to a CSO-funded project on the prediction of cardiovascular disease in Scotland, working in the research discipline of biomarker science and cardiovascular epidemiology.
The project will use large-scale study databases, laboratory biomarkers, and advanced statistical approaches.
The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to the formulation and submission of research publications and research proposals, as well as help manage and direct this complex and challenging project as opportunities allow.
In addition, the postholder will support analytical and laboratory research in a leading academic biomarker research laboratory focused on cardiometabolic health.
