The MRC Laboratory of Medical Sciences (LMS) is a biomedical research institute, with unique computing environment using Windows. Linux and Apple Devices, where scientists and clinicians collaborate to advance the understanding of biology and its application to medicine. LMS is one of three directly funded MRC research institutes and enjoy close links with our partners at Imperial College London and at the Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.
About the role
The successful candidate will support and work within a small team of IT Support Analysts in the LMS’s Computing Facility. You will liaise with Imperial College London (ICL) and Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust; stakeholders in the work that takes place at the LMS and shared IT resources with ICL. You will participate in primarily providing IT Infrastructural Support and IT Support to the user community. You will also take part in IT infrastructural development and implementation across a wide range of back end technologies. Also, providing training and support to staff in safe and secure use of applications.
