About the role

We are seeking to recruit a Programme Coordinator to work within Imperial College Business School. The Business School is a world-leading research institute, home to a suite of innovative MSc and MBA programmes.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a professional team. You will be supporting the day-to-day operations of our Online and Executive MBA programmes, providing the highest quality, professional administrative support to both academics and students. Your approach to programme administration will focus on immaculate planning and executing, improving student experience, fostering innovation and driving continuous quality improvements.

You will have excellent communication skills and be customer service oriented. You will have the ability to work under pressure, working both independently and within a team.

You will be able to implement change on both a strategic and operational level and have experience of managing and developing staff within a professional environment. Experience in the Higher Education sector would be an advantage, as would an interest in business and online education. You will need to be an organised self-starter with strong communication and analytical skills and attention to detail.

What you would be doing

  • You will be responsible for supporting the effective and efficient delivery of Business School programmes, both in online and on-campus programme formats
  • You will be responsible for supporting the operation of administrative systems to manage the designated programmes.
  • You will be required to work flexibly in order to meet demanding service delivery and customer service requirements and to ensure an excellent student experience on your programmes.

What we are looking for

  • Experience of office administration, preferably in higher education or similar academic.
  • Excellent IT skills: MS Office packages particularly Excel, Outlook, OneDrive and Teams.
  • Able to work independently and take initiative to deal with unforeseen problems and circumstances.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with students and staff.
