An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Global Engagement Manager (Programmes) to join our Global Engagement Team, part of UEA Global in the Admissions, Recruitment and Marketing Division (ARM) of the University.
Key duties of the role include leading on the operational delivery of income generating programmes, such as summer schools, to develop sustainable partnerships and maintain excellent partner relations. Your focus will be primarily campus based and, managing a small team, you will support the needs of short stay students who are visiting UEA for an academic experience from one day to a few weeks from our global partner Universities. This will include the negotiation, development and management of summer programmes and the initiation of appropriate pre-departure and arrivals processes for students and any visiting staff. The role will involve substantial liaison at all levels across the University and with UEA’s global University partners.
You will have a passion for supporting international students to gain an experience of academic study in the UK during a short term programme, excellent organisational skills, be a confident communicator with a proven track record of managing multiple projects and motivating teams.
This full-time post is available on an indefinite basis.
The post holder will play an integral part in the design and delivery of UEA's summer study programmes, and as such, leave may be restricted during the summer months.
