We are seeking a full-time/ part-time CHERI Programme Manager to support the lead academic staff, working closely with the research team and key professional support staff in the department and the wider university (finance, communications, HR, etc.).
CHERI is the result of a highly successful 15-year collaboration between the University of Cambridge, SRI International, and more recently Arm, to develop new architectural security primitives. The CHERI protection model embodied in Arm's prototype Morello processor and the forthcoming CHERI for RISC-V standard, has the potential to transform computer security through strong software vulnerability motivation. This post will support and enable the success of this influential research programme with over 70 academic and industrial partners in the UKRI DSbD research programme centred on CHERI. More information on CHERI can be found at:

This includes managing the day-to-day operations, identifying and responding to emerging priorities, proactively mitigating risks, and ensuring that activities are delivered on time and within budget. The role will also entail overseeing monitoring and reporting systems to track progress and measure success.
To excel in this position, the candidate should be educated to degree level or possess equivalent professional experience.
