We are seeking to appoint three clinical psychologists to join our expanding highly regarded Doctorate in Clinical Psychology programme team based in the Department of Primary Care and Mental Health. You will be a member of the programme’s clinical or academic team and undertake a varied range of duties.
The clinical team post has an FTE of 0.6. Duties will include placement organisation and allocation, supervisor training, and leading on some specific clinical components of the programme. We would particularly welcome applicants for this post with a background in clinical work with older adults or people with intellectual disabilities. The academic team posts have an FTE of 0.4. The duties of these posts will include involvement in the development and evaluation of curriculum content including teaching and assessment through module convening and organising teaching.
In all posts you will also act as personal tutor to some trainees, contribute to teaching and marking, conduct placement review visits, act as internal examiner for and be encouraged to supervise trainee research, and work with and support more junior staff members in your team.
You will be a UK clinical psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council, with post qualification clinical experience. This will include supervision of trainee clinical psychologists as well as experience of teaching and training and contributing to the training of psychological professionals.
