Bring your data skills to apply to a range of strategically important projects in Oxford's Medical Sciences Divisional Office. This is newly created role that we envision will bring variety to the post-holder, with opportunities to contribute to a stimulating range of responsibilities and projects. The post holder will play a role in supporting the people and data requirements for the Research Excellence Framework (REF), which is the UK’s system for assessing the quality of research in UK higher education institutions. The post-holder will contribute to work to deliver insights and analysis in support of strategic planning.

About the role

This is a two-year fixed-term role offered on a full-time basis (37.5 hours per week). Applications for part-time working of 0.7 FTE or above will be considered. It offers the opportunity for hybrid working, with an expectation of 2 days minimum on-site.

About you

You will have strong data and Excel analysis skills, high attention to data quality and detail, and proven experience of working with data. You will have the ability to communicate complex data to non-specialist audiences and skills in effective presentation.
