Job Summary
The university is looking for a graduate to work as part of the Sport Team. You will provide an efficient and effective support service to our student sports clubs at the University of Exeter. The support you provide will be key in enabling students to participate in their chosen sport and ensuring the sports clubs and their activities run smoothly, safely and are administered effectively. This role is part of the Graduate Business Partnership (GBP) scheme and offers a full-time contract (36.5 hours per week) until June 2026, with the potential to extend. There is a hybrid working arrangement with occasional home working. You will be based on Streatham Campus in Exeter. For more information on the GBP scheme, please visit www.exeter.ac.uk/internships.
About You
You should be a graduate who has achieved (or about to achieve) a full undergraduate degree or above, preferably in a sport related subject or able to demonstrate additional interest in sport outside of their academic programme. You should have a good working understanding of Microsoft Office including Excel, attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed to a high standard, strong verbal and written communication skills, and be highly organised with an ability to work to deadlines. You should be able to work well within a team, be flexible and adaptable to support the needs of our clubs and their constituent members, and have a willingness to learn and further develop existing skills and experience. Yo should also have a willingness to learn and develop understanding of all sports within a university setting, have enthusiasm to work with students athletes and have demonstrable interest and experience in sport in either a playing, coaching, or volunteering capacity.
