Flexible Working
The Quantum Information Science group led by Professor Animesh Datta within the Department of Physics at the University of Warwick is seeking to appoint a Research Fellow to undertake research in quantum verification and property testing.
The Fellow will develop novel schemes for the property testing of quantum channels and their exploitation in the verification of quantum computation. Emphasis will be placed on identifying the complexity of these schemes and extending these schemes to the error-corrected regime.
The position is a fixed-term contract for 2 years with the possibility of extension, available in connection with the UK QCi3 Hub (https://qci3.org). The position is to start in May 2025, or later by mutual agreement.
About You
The candidate must have a strong background in theoretical quantum computation and information.
The candidate must have (or be expected to obtain shortly) a PhD in the relevant area in theoretical physics, computer science, or mathematics.
