The Role
We are recruiting to the role of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Psychology to join our collegiate and expanding team. This is an exciting time to be part of the School, as we are growing our portfolio, strengthening our research profile in Neuroscience and Cognitive Neuroscience, Mental health, Wellbeing, and Digital Health, playing a central role in helping the University deliver on its ambitious strategic priorities over the next five years.
Key responsibilities will include contribution across our suite of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, specialising in Neuroscience and Cognitive Neuroscience, supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate students and engaging in high quality research and knowledge transfer.
The successful candidate will have skills and experience in Cognitive Neuroscience with specialist experience in fMRI design and analysis. Access to fMRI scanning facilities will be provided through Roehampton’s membership of the CUBIC consortium. As such, the successful candidate is expected to have clear plans for future scanning studies at this facility, as well as plans to bring in external funding for neuroimaging projects. In addition, the successful candidate will be expected to contribute to capacity building of fMRI competencies for colleagues across the department.
