About the role

Join Imperial College London as the Research Excellence Framework (REF) Senior Planning Analyst and play a key role in shaping our REF 2029 submission. Building on our REF 2021 success as the UK’s top university for research outputs and environment, this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to one of the most important research assessments in UK higher education.
What you would be doing
As REF Senior Planning Analyst, you will support the planning, coordination and delivery of REF submission elements. You’ll work closely with the REF Project Manager and colleagues across Faculties and central services to manage REF-related datasets, build PowerBI dashboards and undertake rigorous data analysis. You will contribute to the development and drafting of institutional and disciplinary-level REF statements, monitor REF policy developments and support REF governance groups. You will manage your own workload and contribute to best practices in data management and analysis, supporting the delivery of a high-quality REF submission.

This role is offered as a full time, fixed-term contract to 31st December 2028.
This position could be an opportunity for an internal secondment, with approval from your current line manager.
