Henley Business School is seeking a strategically minded and analytical driven analyst to play a central role in strengthening our global reputation and enhancing our performance across key priorities. This is an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant, high-impact team and contributing directly to the school’s standing. 

In this varied role, you will work across complementary areas of. First, you will lead on the planning, preparation and delivery of major global rankings submissions. This includes mapping timelines, defining data requirements, coordinating the collection and management of complex datasets, and ensuring accuracy and compliance in all submissions. You will bring strong project management capability, close attention to detail, and a proactive approach to improving processes. Your analysis of rankings outcomes will help the school understand trends and strategic opportunities within the competitive business education landscape.

Alongside this, you will provide data-driven insight to inform strategic decision-making and enhance overall performance. Working with student, faculty, and programme datasets, you will apply analytical expertise to generate meaningful intelligence that shapes priorities, support KPI development and strengthens evidence-informed planning. You will also contribute to the evolution of our Power BI reporting, ensuring stakeholders have access to timely and relevant information.

Key experiences you will gain & Key responsibilities you will have.

  • Lead end‑to‑end rankings submissions, including planning timelines, defining data needs, coordinating contributors and managing the collection and evaluation of data.
  • Deliver high‑quality analysis and insight, working with complex datasets to produce evidence‑based recommendations that inform decision‑making, rankings strategy and wider School priorities.
  • Engage stakeholders across the school and sector, supporting student and graduate engagement, and maintaining effective relationships with senior staff, publishers and professional bodies.
  • Strengthen performance reporting, contributing to KPI development, Power BI reporting and continuous improvement of performance processes and data workflows.

Candidate profile

We are looking for a highly self‑motivated analyst and communicator with advanced data literacy, strong stakeholder management skills, and a proven ability for turning complex data into clear and actionable insights. You bring experience in data preparation and evaluation, performance analysis, and data‑informed dashboard design.

An understanding of national and international global rankings will be beneficial to success in this role.
