Job Responsibilities: 

Worcester College is looking for a Service Contracts and Fire Safety Manager to oversee and manage all external contractors, including scheduling visits in line with contractual obligations. The role will be responsible for Contracts Management in consultation with the Head of Works (including Fire Alarms, Smoke Detection, Fire Extinguishers), in addition to the Management of Fire Safety throughout the College site in line with The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. (This includes the servicing of Fire Alarms System and Fire Fighting Equipment.). There will also be the requirement for periodic internal testing and maintaining fire safety documentation. 

Person Specification Summary:

The successful applicant will be professional, organised and methodical and be a good communicator. They will be required to work under own initiative and set example to others, as well as show reliability, discretion and trustworthiness at all times. You will hold a NEBOSH Certificate in Fire Safety, or IOSH and have experience of working in an education setting.
