Main duties and responsibilities
We are seeking a motivated and proactive administrator to join our Study Abroad team and provide support to our operations. You will provide administrative support to student and staff mobility in accordance with University and Turing Scheme procedures and regulations, provide administrative support, advice, and liaison for the Turing Scheme mobility programme, and other student exchange and study abroad programmes and support the Study Abroad Section Head and the Head of Student Administration in effective workload management within Study Abroad. You will be responsible for the maintenance and updating of student, partner, and module information within relevant systems, for example, MoveOn and Turing Scheme platform as well as being responsible for the timely maintenance of records, financial data and reporting in support of funding through the Turing Scheme.
Skills and experience required
You will have appropriate proven administrative experience in a complex and dynamic organisation and be flexible and adaptable to team and workload requirements. You will have the ability to work accurately under pressure to tight deadlines with attention to detail, good organisational skills, the ability to demonstrate initiative and the ability to learn new skills. You will have the ability to communicate to a high standard in a variety of formats to different audiences, have Excellent IT skills, including the use of MSOffice and databases and have a can-do attitude to problem solving.
Qualifications required
You will be educated with a minimum of A-levels or equivalent or proven professional work experience.
