Executive Director of People and Culture
Hours of work: Full-time (1.0fte)
Leeds Trinity University is a renowned institution located in the heart of West Yorkshire, dedicated to providing a transformative educational experience. With a rich history dating back to 1966, we have grown into a dynamic and inclusive community that champions academic excellence, personal growth, and professional success.
As we move forward with our ambitious transformation programme, we are seeking an exceptional leader to join our Executive Team as Executive Director of People and Culture. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of a university that is redefining what it means to be student-first, values-led, and people-powered.
We are seeking a visionary leader to shape our people-first, values-led culture and drive strategic change across the University. As part of the Executive Team, you’ll lead our People and Culture function championing inclusion, performance, and engagement. You’ll influence institutional strategy, lead key services (HR, OD, EDI), and embed wellbeing, equity, and leadership development across the organisation.
We’re looking for someone with executive-level experience in complex organisations (ideally, HE), a track record of transformational change and culture development and expertise across the HR lifecycle. You will have a focus on inclusive leadership, strong stakeholder engagement and team-building skills.
This is your chance to shape a progressive, compassionate culture in a university committed to social justice, sustainability, and people-powered transformation.
If you're passionate about empowering people and driving inclusive change, we’d love to hear from you.
Interviews for this post are expected to take place week commencing 3rd November 2025
