Ravensbourne University London is a dynamic institution at the intersection of creativity, business, and technology. Based in London’s Design District in the heart of North Greenwich, we are home to a diverse, global community in one of the world’s most vibrant business and creative hubs.
The Role
We are seeking a Security / Front of House Operative to ensure a safe and secure environment throughout the University’s buildings, their contents, staff, students and other building users. The operative will be working to a weekly shift roster which includes a mixture of morning, day and late shifts, working across our three buildings all located within a few minutes of each other. Customer focus and the ability to communicate with staff at all levels; external and internal is essential.
The candidate
Our ideal candidate will have experience of working in a fast-paced, customer focused environment, ideally within higher education. They’ll have good organisational and time management skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to build effective working relationships with both staff and students. They’ll be a proactive problem solver who is open to change and can contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and working practises.
We Offer
The Officer will be required to work from any of the Ravensbourne buildings on a weekly shift roster basis covering Monday to Saturday 7am-11pm.
