About the role

Imperial aims for efficient use of space in the context of growth in student numbers and an enabling environment for discovery, innovation and impact.  Imperial is currently developing both the South Kensington campus and growing our White City site.

In this exciting time of extensive expansion, we need to recruit a Senior Timetabling Officer to play a critical role in supporting Imperial’s strategic goals for space optimisation and academic delivery.

What you would be doing

Working with the Head of Timetable Modelling and Analytics and the Central Timetabling Support Office, the post holder will lead on the collection, management and integrity of high-quality timetable modelling data. They will collaborate with faculties, academic departments and internal stakeholders to ensure the smooth coordination of modelling schedules.  The role will contribute to Imperial’s long-term aims for curriculum transformation and student growth by enabling dynamic scheduling solutions, space efficiency, and institutional readiness for teaching delivery changes. They will serve as a key contact for departments, offering specialist advice and promoting continuous process improvement. They will champion data accuracy, and document and embed effective processes across the institution.

  • An experienced timetabler able to work independently and collaborate effectively
  • You must be able to work well under pressure, within a supportive team
  • Attention to detail is a vital part of the role
  • You need to be technically literate enough to learn new systems quickly to a level where you can support others
  • You need to be proactive in addressing and resolving issues
