Background
Based within the Directorate of Marketing and External Relations and working closely with colleagues in academic schools and professional service teams, the Office for Global Engagement contributes to the development of an informed and coordinated approach to global engagement at City St George's.
Responsibilities
The post holder will Manage City St George’s student exchange partnerships with international universities. They will build and maintain relationships with exchange partners; identifying new opportunities to broaden partnerships. They will lead on the internal process for developing new exchange agreements and renewing existing exchange agreements.
Person Specification
The role holder will be educated to Degree level or equivalent, or have equivalent experience, with significant knowledge of higher education in the global context, including international university partnerships.
Experience of successfully developing and managing international university partnerships, including undertaking due diligence and/or risk management will be required along with strong analytical skills, and the ability to think strategically; collating, analysing and interpreting data from a range of sources to support evidence-driven decision making.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required including the ability to write and present strategic reports, business proposals, and planning documents. Diplomacy and discretion are also required, along with excellent organisation skills and the ability to work to deadlines.
