The Student Welfare Team is searching for an empathetic, proactive, and dedicated professional to join our dynamic team within the Student Support Services department.
The core focus of the Student Welfare Officer role is to provide a comprehensive, first-point-of-contact support service for students. The position acts as a case holder, offering confidential advice and guidance on a range of issues—from personal wellbeing and finances to university regulations. The primary goal is to provide a holistic and efficient service that minimises the impact of personal challenges on a student's academic journey.
Key responsibilities include:
An ideal candidate will have a degree (or equivalent) and exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Experience handling sensitive information and situations is a must.
