Roof and Hard Standing Maintenance Supervisor

Are you an experienced external cleaning professional ready to take the next step in your career? We have an exciting opportunity for you to lead a direct service team and use your passion for cleaning external spaces using standard and non-standard equipment.

As Roof & Hard Standing Maintenance Supervisor, you will:

• Physically clean roof spaces and hard standings on both a planned and reactive basis.
• Provide exceptional standards of physical maintenance to support our planned preventative maintenance program.
• Remove extraneous debris from roof spaces and hard standings to enhance our in-house services.
• Report maintenance requirements outside of the cleaning remit to align with our principles of efficiency.
• Support the team to ensure a positive working culture, legislative compliance, and adherence to University core values.

We're looking for someone who is highly skilled in all aspects of external cleaning services and thrives on continuous improvement. Your expertise and enthusiasm for providing exceptional service will be an asset to the Department of Engineering and Maintenance. We will rely on your problem-solving skills, effective communication, and technical ability to ensure operational works are carried out to the high standard required by our world-class university.

This is a primarily physical and active role that requires working outside in all weather conditions to meet business requirements. You must have competency and certification in the use of various working-at-height equipment. Your flexibility will be an asset, as there may be a requirement to work out of hours to maintain safe working practices.
