An exciting opportunity has arisen for four Disability Inclusion Officers to join us on a three-year fixed-term basis, working collaboratively with Student Welfare and Support Services and the four academic divisions.

About the Role
These new roles support the University’s 2025–2029 Access and Participation Plan, focusing on improving on-course support for disabled undergraduate students. Each Officer will lead within one of the four academic divisions, operating in a matrix management structure—line-managed locally while working collaboratively as part of a central project team. Oversight will be provided by the Senior Project and Evaluation Manager (Disability Inclusion).

About You
You will hold a degree or equivalent experience and demonstrate a proven record of developing and supporting inclusive practices, with specialist knowledge of disability inclusion and a strong understanding of the higher education landscape. You’ll understand the educational barriers faced by disabled students and have the ability to identify and drive evidence-based solutions.
Excellent research, evaluation, and communication skills are essential, alongside the ability to collaborate effectively and influence a wide range of stakeholders, including senior academics and professional services staff. You’ll be proactive and organised, you will be committed to making meaningful improvements in disability inclusion and student success at Oxford.
