We are looking for an exceptional communicator with strong planning and organisational skills to support the delivery of the Innovation Pathways (In-Path) programme - an exciting new project in West Yorkshire.
Led by Leeds Beckett University, in partnership with regional university partners (Bradford, Huddersfield and Leeds), In-Path will facilitate collaboration and forge partnerships between academia and health innovation and digital technology businesses within West Yorkshire. The programme will help accelerate business innovation and growth by mobilising the health-tech eco-system to maximise impact and advance the development of new health technologies; bridging the gap between academic research and real-world applications in the health, care and wellbeing sector.
The Communications and Engagement Coordinator will will lead the delivery of strategic communications and marketing activities that support the objectives of the In-Path programme. They will work with key internal and external stakeholders, including a small and focused team of Relationship Managers, to champion the portfolio of innovation support, and established interventions for driving collaboration, utilised by universities within the West Yorkshire Investment Zone. This role will be integral in enhancing visibility of the program and helping to connect businesses with expertise, thus supporting impactful interventions across the health innovation and digital technology sectors.

The Person
Candidates should hold a relevant degree (e.g. Marketing, Communications, PR) or be able to demonstrate substantial professional experience in a comparable role. They must possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively engage with a range of stakeholders.
Applicants should also have proven experience in developing compelling marketing content tailored for diverse channels and audiences as well as a successful track record in planning, coordinating, and delivering a variety of impactful events.
