The role
At the intersection of computing, mathematics, data analytics, and AI, these disciplines are transforming industries and shaping the future. We are seeking an outstanding individual with the expertise to teach and apply core mathematical, statistical, and computational concepts, and to demonstrate their impact in developing scalable, data-driven, and AI-enabled solutions. You will contribute to the delivery and development of our innovative undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, helping to equip the next generation of data scientists and AI practitioners.
We’re really proud of our work environment, undergraduates, postgraduates, and research students work together alongside academic and support staff. The way we teach here is non-traditional, you won’t be handed a menu of content to serve up to the students. Instead, we follow an applied, project-based approach to learning.
You’ll spend most of your classroom time helping students work on their own projects, which are run in the same way as in the IT industry. You and your students will always be connected to what’s going on in the real world.
Join our team and you’ll gain access to extraordinary facilities and equipment, such as:
You’ll also have some unique colleagues, in the shape of our humanoid robots Nao and Pepper and our pet robot dog MiRo.
