We are a world class research-intensive university. We deliver teaching and learning of the highest quality. We play a leading role in economic, social and cultural development of the North East of England. Attracting and retaining high-calibre people is fundamental to our continued success.
The Role
Based in the School of Pharmacy, you will participate fully in the School's range of teaching and research activities, but with a specific focus on work-based learning. You must have experience of teaching, mentorship, or of supervising undergraduate students or foundation pharmacists. We are interested in people with or without prior experience of working in a school of pharmacy, but who have a string current knowledge of the practice of pharmacy in one or more sectors.
The School of Pharmacy benefits from being an integral part of the Faculty of Medical Sciences with strong teaching and research links to colleagues in medicine, biomedical sciences, dentistry, psychology and chemistry.
The University has developed an Academic Job Summary Guidance document which summarises the range of activities that academic colleagues may be expected to perform.
