Salary
Lecturer Grade F £41,064 - £46,049 per annum.
Lecturer Grade G £47,389 - £56,535 per annum.
The Role
We seek to appoint Lecturers in Entrepreneurship (Teaching and Research) into our Entrepreneurship and Innovation Subject Group. We are a vibrant community of scholars, researchers and doctoral students that is dedicated to cutting-edge research, educational excellence, and sharing our knowledge and expertise. We realise this through our continuous engagement and collaboration across various sectors and organisational settings, both locally, regionally and internationally. Our work supports entrepreneurs and innovators and we are at the forefront of addressing contemporary issues faced by entrepreneurial and innovative firms, as well as public and third-sector organisations. We have a diverse range of research interests across our subject group and we have a comprehensive teaching portfolio at undergraduate and post graduate levels including an MSc in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management (see our website. www.ncl.ac.uk/business/about/subject-groups/entrepreneurship-and-innovation/).
We are looking for outstanding candidates in entrepreneurship to join our Subject Group. You must be able to demonstrate research as evidenced by high-quality publications that are universally recognised as world-leading and/or internationally excellent - and deliver leading-edge, innovative and inclusive teaching. Successful candidates will have a strong research trajectory in entrepreneurship with significant potential to generate research income, pursue impact activities, and to develop an international reputation. You will be committed to the success and development of Newcastle University Business School and good citizens that are willing to contribute to positions of responsibility within the group and the school. The post is open to colleagues with different entrepreneurship specialisms that contribute to our innovation teaching portfolio at undergraduate and post graduate levels. You must be present on campus for the role.
You will contribute to the research profile of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Subject Group in Newcastle University Business School by publishing in internationally recognised journals, demonstrating research impact, and securing external research funding. Additionally, you will develop and deliver programmes at Newcastle University Business School, ensuring an outstanding teaching experience for our students.
