We have an exciting opportunity for a Research Associate to make a leading contribution to a research project examining the impacts of welfare grants in pregnancy and the early years on maternal and child health inequalities.
The post holder will work with Dr Anna Pearce, and other colleagues both within University of Glasgow and other Universities across the UK. This project will use a wide range of cross-UK administrative health records to estimate the impact of the welfare grants on maternal and child health and health inequalities, using natural experimental evaluation methods.
The post is part of a larger mixed-methods project that aims to understand how welfare grants in pregnancy can support families.
The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to the formulation and submission of research publications and research proposals as well as help manage and direct this complex and challenging project as opportunities allow.
Informal enquiries should be directed to Dr Anna Pearce Anna.Pearce@glasgow.ac.uk
This position is full time and has funding until 31 October 2028.
