Lucy Cavendish College, part of the University of Cambridge, is seeking to appoint a driven individual to work within the Student Office. The Student Office Programme Administrator will have administrative responsibility for the coordination and delivery of the programmes run by the Student Office.
The Student Office is responsible for student academic progress and welfare and wellbeing. Duties include supporting the planning and delivery of key events in the student journey, including On-Boarding, Bridging Week, Postgraduate Induction, College Matriculation and Graduation. You will act as a first point of contact for the team, maintaining student databases and responding to student queries. The post holder will experience changes in priorities through the academic year so they must be well organised, flexible and able to handle new situations as they arise.
Alongside significant administrative experience and exemplary organisational skills, you will have the highest level of professionalism, discretion and diplomacy in dealing with confidential information or sensitive issues. You will be confident and proactive with the ability to work using own initiative and judgment. With an interest and willingness to engage in all the areas of the role, and to support other members of the Student Office team as circumstances demand, you will be able to manage a demanding and occasionally pressurised workload.
